Late August 2019, with a group of Swiss architects, the ART-TOUR drove through Karelia, the Murmansk region and the Northern Norway.
We visited famous Kizhi, majestic Solovetsky monastery, walked around Kem, seeing how a provincial northern town life is arranged, spent 2 days in Murmansk, getting to know the structure of the city and its buildings.
From Murmansk we went to famous Teriberka to feel the power of the Arctic Ocean and to see how people actually live in the harsh northern latitudes.
Our trip ended in the Norwegian Vardø with its famous Steylneset memorial museum.
