GEORGIA – JUNIOR 2

Since the spring premiere of the ART-TOUR Junior Club 2019 Georgia for us has become a place of power.

In October 2019 we came to Tbilisi as we returned home. This time the program was intense: after three days of the festive stream of Tbilisoba our team went to Attskuri, where we spent their village days at the Barbale farm. We made chacha, dug potatoes, cooked cheese and visited a water mill. On our farewell evening, we went to the mountains for a picnic, where we were swam in hot springs under the endless Georgian sky strewn with a billion of stars. On the way back, we visited the famous Vardzia and Poka monasteries.

On coming back to the capital we once again plunged into the bustling life of a megalopolis, generous with gifts: someone found a watch of his dreams at Tbilisi flea market, and someone got to a performance of the Rezo Gabriadze Puppet Theater. Before leaving we traditionally had a family reception in Mtskheta the ancient capital of Georgia. We spent the whole day in the hospitable home of two Georgian sisters – an architect and an artist.
